Nature: Hrimnir resting under the cool shade, courtesy of the Lemon Balm. Which is positively thriving in that pot. It must be the scent, the stuff is distantly related to Cat Mint. Which, sadly, is NOT thriving in the Garden of Chaos.
Cats: The Frankensiblings playing “Castle”, with Frankette as haughty Castelaine.
Frankette: “No ! You can’t come in !” *HISS*
Franky: “B-b-b-but…”
Horses: After having taken so many lovely pictures of horses a couple of weeks ago during the Horse Fair of Vilvoorde, I decided to use one of them for my current art project. I’m taking classes in acrylic painting and the current project is to create an abstract painting from a picture. I don’t like abstract, and this is as far as I go.
Fortunately the teacher has admitted that there are always people who don’t take well to abstract, but she appreciates the effort.
The colours are my city’s. Due to the annual Horse Fair one of our city’s symbols is the draft horse.
Still have to work on this painting though, it’s still first layer. I plan to put on the second layer this afternoon, time willing.
The book "Tales from the House of Chaos" has been published with ISBN 978-1-4092-0781-8 as its number. Available immediately at Lulu.com, available soon at other outlets like Amazon.com.
Just to remind you, we have 7 main players in this game (besides some extras):
Loup-Garou Mafkat
("wherewolf" crazy/sleepy cat) - black with a little bit of white, très couch-potato
Freya Gastropode
("Norse Goddess of love, beauty and fertility/Stomach on Legs") - female grey tabby gastropod, mommy of Isegrim, tries to convince us that she is eternally starving and needs to be fed NOW
Bean Sidhe WOAH-He’s-Big-!
(a.k.a. Banshee "wailing ghost" = mythical Irish ghost/typical outcry of any visitor) - white and orange tabby part Maine Coon, trying to grow larger than the kitchen counter is high
Hrimnir de WC-plonzer, Protteke
("Shrouded with Frost" = mythical Norse giant/the toilet-plunger/little fart) - white, grey and cream tabby part Norwegian Forestcat, slowly turning into a very solid bloke indeed
Isegrim Dondersteen
("Grey Helmet/very busy critter") - grey with faint tabby markings, son of Freya
Frankette ‘t Poppemieke, Prottemie, Mieperke
(female "the frank one"/the little girl-doll/fart-girl/little meeper) - female white and black, one of the Frankensiblings who roam the Neighbourhood of Chaos but the only one who currently lives with us
Caramel El Krijs
("cute as candy" but emits sounds like nails on a schoolboard) - orange and white tabby - he's never home these days and prefers to reside at the local hospital/elderly home nearby where there ain't no Zorro trying to murder him
Also starring:
Grumpy Man, The Mistress, Bouncing Psycho, The Strong Woman of Flanders, The Lord of Toys, The Cleaning Scourge, The Man in White, and the occasional hapless visitor.

I love the cats, especially the first one. Is that cat mint in the pot behind the cat? Beautiful photo.
