Frankette keeps hogging the limelight it seems. This week shows her napping in the couch in the position that has come to be known in the House of Chaos as the “Frankensleep”: legs into the air and tummy open for all to admire.
At least for decency’s sake she managed to cover up a strategic spot when I took this picture. Who says a lady is never aware of her surroundings when asleep ?

Nice white tummy. Wonder what she would do if you tried to pet her. None of my cats will sleep in such an exposed position.

If you petted her she would wake up with an adorable plaintive mjew and instantly start purring.
Only the two youngest feline denizens in the House of Chaos sleep in such an exposed position, the elder ones -even Hrimnir The Peacemaker- usually sleep curled up. Very very rarely do they sleep in a stretched position.
Do not forget that the Frankentwain (Franky and Frankette) selected the House of Chaos to live in, we did not adopt them – they adopted us ! I suppose they feel so secure here that they don’t care about safe sleeping. And strangely, even Zorro -who as a rule attacks anything that doesn’t run away fast enough- has let them be.
